I am from the small town of Lexington, Tennessee and graduated from Clarksburg High School. Following graduation, I attended The University of Tennessee at Martin where I received a bachelor’s degree in Health and Human Performance and became a certified athletic trainer. While working as an athletic trainer for the Tennessee Martin women’s basketball team, I completed a master’s degree in Education.
I moved to Hernando shortly after completing my second degree and marrying my wife Jennifer. We have been married 10 years and have two beautiful daughters. Makayla is 7 and Addalyn is 3. We also have a 12 year old boxer named Roxy. Jennifer started her educational career as teacher/softball coach at Horn Lake High School was an assistant principal at Desoto Central Middle School and currently is the principal at Southaven Intermediate School
I began my career in education as an elementary teacher in Hernando. After teaching for three years, I returned to college at Delta State University where I earned a second master’s degree in Educational Leadership. Since completing that degree, I served as assistant principal at Horn Lake Middle School, Hernando High School and principal at Center Hill Middle School.
Now principal of Olive Branch High, I am excited about continuing the history of excellence at OBHS. There are over 100 years of amazing individuals, groups, and teams associated with OBHS and I am proud to lead the next chapter.

My staff and I strive to establish a safe and positive learning environment for each student. It is our goal to provide academic and extracurricular activities that help each child become excellent in their own way. We recognize that each student is different and we must be flexible while maintaining an atmosphere of the highest expectations. We will push each student to be excellent.
